How to use Seasol Trilogy 631 on banana plants
For banana growing, we recommend applying Trilogy 631 primarily to the soil around the root zone.
This is consistent with the manufacturer’s recommendations for tree and perennial crops.
When planting banana suckers
The manufacturer’s tree-crop guidance includes a planting dilution of 1:250, equivalent to:
40mL of Trilogy 631 in 10 litres of water.
Apply the diluted mixture around the root zone when planting or transplanting.
Established banana plants
The manufacturer includes bananas in its evergreen tree-crop category.
For established plants, the agricultural recommendation is 8.5–17 litres per hectare, with applications during active growth and at important growth stages.
These are commercial application rates based on treated area, rather than a fixed amount per individual backyard banana plant.
For backyard use, follow the current bottle label and use a suitable soil-drench application rate for your plant size and growing conditions.
Before and after stressful weather
